Who processes the data

What we process

Ordinary reading. The website has no sign-up, forms or newsletter. While you read, we collect nothing that would let us identify you.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Websupport, Slovakia) briefly stores technical data on each visit, such as IP address, time and the page viewed. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

Audience measurement. We want to know which stories people read and how far they get. We use Google Analytics for this, and only if you agree. Without consent, measurement does not start.

Email. When you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply.

Cookies and browser storage

Necessary: remembering your consent choice.

On your device: some stories save your choices directly in your browser, such as the list of places in the Abu Dhabi story. This data never leaves your browser.

Analytics: only after your consent. You can change your choice at any time.

Who we share data with

Our hosting provider and, if you agreed to measurement, Google as a processor. We do not sell data or use it to target advertising.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we process about you, to ask for it to be corrected or erased, to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time. Just write to us.

If you believe we are handling data incorrectly, you can contact the supervisory authority (in Slovakia, the Office for Personal Data Protection).
