What you will find here

Stories are big reads on a single topic. Each has a form of its own: its own colours, structure and interactive elements. We do not use a template, because a steak is not told the same way as lavender.

Magazine is shorter reading for one sitting: recipes, tips and smaller topics.

Everything is published in Slovak, Czech and English.

How a story is made

It starts with research. We check facts, figures and quotations and list our sources in the footer of every story. When we cannot verify something, we either leave it out or say so.

Treat information about health, nutrition and travel as inspiration, not professional advice. Prices, opening hours and rules change, so check them before you travel.

Found a mistake? Write to us and we will correct it.

We also work with artificial intelligence

We say it openly: we use AI when preparing our content. It helps us with research, fact-checking, translation and building the pages.

But nothing goes out just like that. Every text, every figure and every image is reviewed by a person, and a person always decides what gets published. We stand behind the content, not the tool.

Partners and advertising

Story is Mine is funded by brand partnerships. Each story can carry one partner whose brand belongs to the topic naturally.

We always label commercial partnerships clearly. A story has to stand up without the brand, otherwise nobody would read it to the end.
